Design:

We come from the sea.

Like sand we are infinitely tiny in the universe.

From the heat of the sun, sand becomes glass.

 Glass contains Light.

 Light is Hope.

 Our bodies contain the soul.

 The soul is light.

The use of bottles symbolizes the spiritual idea of the simple object, like ourselves, within the chaos of life. The stainless steel structure holding the 9,000 bottles is a support system in our reach for Hope. The electronically wired wall interacts with the patients beckoning responses when they stand in specific spots. For example: the wall smiles back at the child’s smile, it lights up with patient’s movement, butterflies flutter when the youth stands still and the entire wall responds with all its magic for the bald head patient.
